The Campion Teacher

Tonight, we honour 29 of the very best people dedicated to education in Jamaica. Each has given 10 or more years of service to our beloved Campion College and each has demonstrated a special commitment and passion for nurturing young minds.

In the beautiful words of Tracy Chapman:
I’ve seen and met angels wearing the disguise
Of ordinary people leading ordinary lives
Filled with love, compassion, forgiveness and sacrifice

LONG SERVICE AWARDS FUNCTION

REPLY BY SHEILA BARRETT, DEAN OF STUDIES & VP
It is my privilege this evening to make the reply on behalf of the awardees, and I do so feeling quite inadequate given all that has happened tonight – the fine speeches, the tributes in song, the video presentation, the fanfares and just the general ambiance. It has all been a bit overwhelming. But you have certainly made us feel special, very special; and it’s a good feeling. So ...

Led by Coach Phillpotts-Brown, the squad represented a nice blend of experience and youth. For upper sixth form players such as Moran ...
