On the 5th of January 1960, with 101 first form students and a faculty of four Jesuit Fathers, Campion opened its doors with the first lessons taught in a pavilion borrowed from the boys’ preparatory school, Campion Hall. Campion College is now one of Jamaica’s leading high schools, producing some of the country’s finest graduates every year. The school’s history is decorated with outstanding achievements in academics, sports, public service and other activities.

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of Campion College in 2010, the Vision 2020 Campaign was established to create a sustainable financial base for the school in the period 2010-2020. Thank you to all our donors!

Campion has attracted and fostered an extraordinary group of teachers who demand the highest standards from their students. Our teachers’ extraordinary efforts and sacrifices are among the main reasons for Campion’s success and we are truly grateful to them.

Consistently named the Top School in Jamaica based on our CSEC and CAPE results, Campion is proud of the achievements of its enormously talented student body which not only shines in academics, but also makes its mark in a range of diverse activities and its contribution to public service.  

Our extracurricular activities continue to expand with a large range of options for student involvement beyond the classroom. At Campion, there is definitely something for everyone.

Campion offers over 15 sports including basketball, cricket, football, track & field, tennis, badminton, table tennis, chess, hockey, swimming and more.

We believe in the saying: “a time for work, a time for play.” From school spirit day to interactive student events, there is never a dull moment here at Campion.

The Home School Association is made up of a committed group of parents who are dedicated to supporting the school’s mission and its development plan by providing expertise, assistance and fundraising.

The Campion College Alumni Association was established to develop and maintain a close bond with past students and to promote and support the school. Membership is open to all former students and activities range from work days at the school to student rap sessions and fundraising events.
